Why The Need For The *Green Genie Washdown And Recycling SystemsMany international government bodies have set targets to reduce water pollution by at least 20% by the end of this decade in response to EU Directives.
This guideline together with the voluntary inititive (VI) being introduced regarding the washdown of machinery that has been in contact with pesticides, fertilisers, and organic waste has meant that groundsmen, greenkeepers and the agricultural sector now have direct responsibility to prevent pollution entering the groundwater and main sewer network from their equipment.
Grass cutting machinery and sprayers will emit particles of oil, grease, fertiliser and pesticides etc. when being pressure washed.
